Omoda has launched a new variant of its E5 electric crossover in Nepal. The E5 is now offered in a more affordable DLX version, priced at Rs 55.99 Lakh, while the price of the LUX trim remains unchanged at Rs 61.99 Lakh.
The Omoda E5 is equipped with a 61 kWh lithium iron phosphate blade battery pack, providing a range of 430 km based on the WLTP standard. Powered by a front-mounted 99 kW electric motor, the Omoda E5 delivers 340 Nm of maximum torque.The Omoda E5 is a 5-seater and boasts a length of 4424mm, a width of 1830mm, and a height of 1558mm. In terms of ground clearance, it measures 180mm. Similarly, the wheelbase stands at 2630mm. The Omoda E5 showcases a futuristic design concept, characterized by a sporty "X" shaped front face and dynamic body lines on its exterior. The vehicle's rear adopts an upturned design, conveying a dynamic stance.
The DLX variant will not include features such as a sunroof, rear reading light, 360-degree camera, privacy glass, rear dynamic turning light, puddle light, and power tailgate.
